Overview & Mission

As Arkansas’ global business resource, the World Trade Center Arkansas is a non-governmental organization helping Arkansas’ business community compete more effectively in a global market. Since our inception in 2007, our mission has been to partner with numerous firms across the state to establish and strengthen their global presence through comprehensive international business services, global connections and professional development and networking events.

We bring together businesses and governmental agencies involved in foreign trade to further our state’s economic outlook and encourage stability through world trade development.

As a proud affiliate of the University of Arkansas, the World Trade Center Arkansas strives to pair our state’s qualified students with internships in our organization. These appointments not only support our business community’s global initiatives, but also provide interns with unparalleled experience in global commerce.

The World Trade Center Arkansas is a member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), a global association of nearly 300 World Trade Centers in some 100 countries. Through cooperative relationships and support, the World Trade Center Arkansas and its members can access resources of the world's major trading centers for information, trade and business contacts as well as a wide variety of specialized international services.
